Mark Anthony Lockee, Jr. , 75, of Connelly Springs unexpectedly departed this life to his heavenly home on Sunday October 28, 2018.
Mark was born on February 13, 1943 in Lincoln County to the late Mark Anthony Lockee, Sr. and Zula Icard Lockee. He was a retired department manager with Corning for over 37 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hildebran where he served as a Deacon, former Sunday School Teacher, a trustee, and was a member of the church choir.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Moody Lockee of the home; his children, Michael Lockee and wife Debbie of Connelly Springs, David Lockee and wife Tina of Connelly Springs, and Dawn Robbins of Connelly Springs; his grandchildren, Heather Lockee McDowell and husband Nicholas, Michaela Lockee, Sarah Grace Lockee, Brandon Lockee, Jordan Lockee, Mark Robbins, Aidan Robbins, Madison Robbins, and Scarlett Robbins; his brother, Roland Lockee and wife Sarah; and two nieces, Leslie Lockee and Michelle Brown and husband Michael.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday November 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Hildebran, with Rev. Ronald Arndt officiating. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour.
