Mrs. Pamela Medford Adkins, 50, of Hickory, passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 at her residence after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Adkins was born November 8, 1968 in New Port News, VA, a daughter of the late Jerry Wayne and Marguerite Holcombe Medford. She was formally employed in the cake decorating department of Ingles Super Market.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Watson.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Adkins, a step-son, Vincent Adkins and a sister, Karen Harshbarger and husband Bill of Oxford, NC.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Sunday May 19, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with Rev. Aaron Watson officiating.
The family will receive friends following the services at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 120 Wall St. 19th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10005.
