Mrs. Patricia Charlene Lutz Brittain, 50, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her residence, following a period of declining health.
Patricia was born on July 18, 1968 in Cleveland County to Charlene Waters Lutz and the late Gerald Lutz. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother in-law, Charles Kincaid.
Survivors include her husband, Jody Brittain of the home, her mother Charlene Lutz of Kings Mountain, a daughter, Taylor Brittain of the home, two sons, Shad Lutz of Gastonia and Travis Brittain of the home. Also surviving are three sisters, Connie Kincaid, Christina Summit and Elizabeth Lutz all of Kings Mountain, one brother, Gerald Lutz of Gastonia, an aunt Neil Waters , and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Don Denton officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
