Mrs. Rita Aderholdt Mull, 78, of Hildebran passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Trinity Ridge Nursing Facility following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Mull was born April 11, 1941 in Catawba County to the late David Miles Aderholdt and Marie Rudisill Aderholdt. She was a member at Central Baptist Church in Hildebran and retired as a school teacher with Burke County Public Schools.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Derwent Mull.
Survivors include her son, Edwin S. Mull and wife Leslie of Hildebran; daughter, Maria Olds and husband Jeff of Holly Springs; granddaughter, Karis Olds of Holly Springs; sisters, Nanette Temple and husband Sam of Charlotte, Janice Simpson and husband Dave of Charlotte, and Faye Poteat and husband Buzz of Morganton. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward McKeown officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Central Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church at 201 U.S. Hwy 70 SW E, Hildebran, NC 28637.
