Mr. Timothy Randall Williams, 50, of Morganton passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center Main Campus in Charlotte.
Timothy was born July 18, 1968 in Burke County to Esther Brittain Williams Smith and the late Lloyd Randall Williams. He attended United Baptist Church and The Church of God in Nebo. Timothy was co owner and operator of LRW Trucking; he also worked for the NCDOT and STAT.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Thurman and Teresa Williams; maternal grandparents, Arthur Edward Brittain and Virginia Dare Reid Brittain; maternal great grandmother, Mary Louise Reid; and cousin, Nathan Alan Williams.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Ryan Williams of Valdese, and Shelbe Makala Williams and fiancé Devin Thomas Wichie of Morganton; mother, Esther Brittain Williams Smith and step-father Randall Guy Smith; ex wife, Candace Marie Williams of Hickory; brother, Bryan Keith Williams of Nashville, TN; and Sis, Kristen "Kris" McRary of Nashville, TN.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30PM Friday August 10, 2018 at United Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00PM to 5:30PM at United Baptist Church.
The family would like to especially thank Jeanine Barus (Little Mama) and Jackie Crawley for the help they have provided throughout Timothy's illness.
